This position will be responsible for providing accurate data from the Minnesota State and the college’s operational data sources to support departmental reporting initiatives, as well as various scheduled and ad hoc data requests and reports. The position will also be responsible for designing and conducting research projects, including surveys, focus groups, secondary data analysis, and the college’s Graduate Follow-Up survey, as well as institutional surveys such as the CCSSE. This position will be responsible for projects that require data collection, interpretation/analysis, and/or the presentation of findings. **Salary Range:** $25.67 - $37.26 per hour **Minimum Qualifications** + One year of direct work experience in a related position, or a bachelor’s degree, may substitute for 1 year of experience, and an associate degree may substitute for 6 months of experience. + Strong skills in database management. + Experience in managing research projects incorporating a variety of research methods. + Applied experience with productivity software, including Microsoft Word and Excel. + Applied experience with data interpretation. + Applied experience with data presentation tools and techniques. **Preferred Qualification** + Bachelors degree + Previous higher education employment + Advanced technical and data presentation skills. + Database management and experience, particularly experience with Minnesota State operational data via Access, SQL, and Power BI. + Experience establishing effective and efficient data report tools for recurring data needs. + Experience with web-based research and reporting tools (e.g., dashboards, web-based data tools, and data entry forms). + Experience with the preparation of data reports that include narrative and other depictions (e.g., tables, charts, graphs, and statistical analysis), which assist college administrators and other decision-makers. + Ability to develop, administer, and analyze data using online survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics). + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Knowledge of Minnesota State’s policies and procedures. + Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to data privacy laws in an educational environment. + Interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills necessary to work with diverse groups of stakeholders. + Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. + Attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to prioritize work assignments, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and meet established deadlines with minimal supervision. **Other Requirements** Application must include: + Letter of interest + Resume **Work Shift** Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm **Telework** This position may be eligible for a hybrid or telework arrangement in accordance with college policy and operational needs.
