Research Analyst III

Our client, a leading innovator in the technology and hardware industry, is seeking a Research Analyst III to join their dynamic team. As a Research Analyst III, you will be part of the New Product Innovation (NPI) department supporting cross-functional teams dedicated to developing groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and platform. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Research Analyst III
**Location: Remote PST or MST preferred, US based**
**Pay Range: $40-$45 per hour**
**Contract: 6 months**
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct foundational qualitative and quantitative research to inform the development of new-to-the-world tech products, focusing on hardware experience or physical goods.
+ Translate complex business questions into actionable research programs that support product and marketing strategies.
+ Identify consumer needs and problems to solve, leveraging insights to shape innovative product initiatives from inception to launch.
+ Manage multiple research projects efficiently, prioritizing tasks to maximize impact and meet deadlines.
+ Position learnings within the broader business context to influence strategic decisions and audience engagement strategies.
**What's Needed?**
+ 6+ years of experience supporting 0->1 product launch initiatives with a focus on physical goods or hardware.
+ Proven ability to independently manage research programs and vendor relationships.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of delivering clear, impactful insights to executive stakeholders.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions from initial research questions.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating proactively with diverse teams.
