Job Overview:Medscape Education is seeking a Research Analyst to support medical education evaluation and grant-seeking efforts. In this role, you’ll assess programs that improve the knowledge and performance of healthcare providers worldwide and translate data into insights for stakeholders. By joining Medscape Education, you will have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that truly make an impact on physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers and thus the lives of those around you.Responsibilities: Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand analytical and reporting needsManipulate data from a variety of sources (including databases and spreadsheets) and perform statistical analysis using Excel, R, SPSS, and/or SAS, to understand trends and replicability of the findings.Work off pre-specified templates to design and prepare reports and presentations using tables, visualizations, and infographics for both internal and external stakeholdersAssist with data exploration and analysis for evaluation and insights projects that may have open-ended questionsAssist with data analysis and write-ups for conference abstracts and publicationsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Behavioral or Social science, Statistics, Public Health, or Market Research or a similar fieldAt least 1 year plus of relevant experience in research and data analyticsKnowledge of research methodology and statistics Above-average skills using Excel for reporting analysis and creating PowerPoint slidesPrior experience prioritizing and completing multiple projects simultaneously for different stakeholders Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree or higher in Life Sciences or Market Research or a similar fieldExperience in medical education, pharmaceutical or healthcare industriesExperience working with Tableau/Tableau Server and SQLExperience working with offsite stakeholdersExperience prioritizing and completing multiple projects simultaneously for different stakeholdersFamiliar with web-based data and document sharing sites and authoring tools (SharePoint)
