Your Team's Impact 

S&RD Symbology drives ID resolution on Factset. The team is responsible in providing reference data associated with securities, such as listing status, security types, primary listing flag, and listing exchanges among others. Data integrity, comprehensiveness of coverage and timeliness of data delivery are the main goals of the team.


As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collating, maintaining, and updating relevant fields in the database with accurate information in accordance with the defined work process. You will be analyzing these content sets by reviewing official updates from our trusted sources that can be in the form of feeds, press releases, and other reports, thereby making it available to FactSet clients in real-time and in top quality.


You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team’s business goals by meeting your individual targets. As an individual contributor, you shall be responsible for your own performance in all assigned tasks.

 

What You'll Do 

 

Ensure smooth day to day execution and delivery of your individual goals on your market and other assigned tasksAchieve quality, timeliness, and productivity metricsAttend all training requirements for process, methodology, workflows, and systemsKeep track of all communications on updates and new processes and proceduresAcquire a good understanding of FactSet content, particularly in Private entities content collection and workflowAdhere to systems procedures, document analysis measures and database maintenance protocolsComply with knowledge alignment activities by participating in Process Knowledge TestExercise ownership and accountability of all assigned tasksAdapt to ad hoc business requirementsAttendance to and participation in meetingsAttendance to skills’ enhancement courses

 

What We're Looking For 

 

Required Skills 

Graduate in Commerce / Business Management / Finance / Accounting / Economics or equivalentWith extensive experience in business accounting With 3 + years of experienceGood Knowledge of financial markets and accountancy (as needed) to ensure effective understanding of assigned content/marketComputer Literacy to effectively use the database and software for collection and processing of content/data

Desired Skills
