Job Title: Reporting Consultant
Job Description

As a Reporting Consultant, you will work collaboratively with various business units within the Operations team to automate and enhance report delivery processes. Reports are currently prepared manually, and your role will involve using Microsoft Excel to generate client-facing reports, developing macros to automate these reports, and suggesting improvements for report delivery. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, along with previous experience in a top financial institution, either buy-side or sell-side. You must be able to manage multiple high-priority projects within fixed timeframes.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business units to automate report delivery processes.Generate client-facing reports using Microsoft Excel.Develop macros to automate reports traditionally populated manually.Suggest improvements for report delivery.Manage multiple high-priority projects within fixed timeframes.Essential Skills3-5+ years of experience in reporting, financial reporting, or cost reporting.Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, Macros, VLOOKUPS, and Pivots.Ability to create dashboards and optimize manual reporting in Excel.Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.Project-based experience and Excel optimization.Experience in reporting for external clients or other stakeholders.Additional Skills & QualificationsFinancial services experience.Investment industry experience.CPA or CFA (or pursuing).Work Environment

The role involves standard working hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence 1-2 times a week, typically on Wednesdays when the team meets. You will report to the Director of Continuous Improvement in the Investment department.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
