ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision Local Media is looking to add a News Reporter to join our team.  This position will be reporting to the Assistant News Director.

This position will require the employee to be part or join the SAG-AFTRA bargaining unit.

Rate: $59/H

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Responsible for Investigative planning, producing and reporting in Spanish for our multiplatform news productsBe the on-air representative of the station’s consumer and investigative effortAbility to think on your feet during live shots and great story telling skillsGather news information and prepare if for on air delivery, for on line and for mobile applicationsMust be able to work well under strict deadlinesStong knowledge of social networking in regards to content gathering and distributionAble to work long hours and a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, when necessaryExperience working with legal team and working knowledge of local, state and federal laws, as they relate to investigations, undercover reporting and hidden camerasStrong knowledge of journalistic ethics and laws

YOU HAVE:

5+ years TV reporting experience in Spanish Language Broadcasting preferredInvestigative and consumer affairs reporting experience is a plusAbility to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach and sit for up to (8) hoursMust be willing to work from office in Los AngelesMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
