Our client, a premier manufacturer of high-quality power conversion solutions for mission-critical military and industrial sectors, is seeking a **Lead Soldering Repair Technician (Electro-Mechanical Repair Technician)** to join their team. As a Lead Soldering Repair Technician, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Electro-Mechanical assembly team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical precision, a strong commitment to quality, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** **Lead Soldering Repair Technician (Electro-Mechanical Repair Technician)** **Location:** Saratoga Springs, NY **Pay Range:** $19.87 - $21.36 per hour (Union Scale) **What’s the Job?** + Perform high-precision repair and rework on complex circuit boards and electro-mechanical assemblies. + Utilize J-Standard soldering techniques to ensure all repairs meet strict military and industrial quality specifications. + Troubleshoot and identify defects in electronic components to determine the necessary repair path. + Collaborate with the production team to clear backlogs and ensure units move through the repair process efficiently. + Maintain detailed documentation of repairs and modifications to ensure full traceability for DoD contracts. **What’s Needed?** + Proven experience in circuit board repair and electro-mechanical troubleshooting. + Strong knowledge of and experience with **J-Standard soldering** requirements. + U.S. Citizenship with the ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled data. + A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work within a structured union environment. **What’s in it for me?** + Guaranteed pay increases: Starting at $19.87/hr with a scheduled increase to $21.36/hr after 6 months. + Four-day work week for a consistent and balanced schedule. + Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance. + Long-term security through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) plan. + Reimbursement programs for safety shoes and prescription safety glasses.
