We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and isolating equipment malfunctions, replacing defective parts, and reassembling equipment. The successful candidate will maintain calibration and safety standards while documenting repair activities and maintaining accurate records. Collaboration with production teams to minimize downtime is essential, along with adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment.Troubleshoot and isolate equipment malfunctions.Replace defective parts and reassemble equipment.Maintain calibration and safety standards (ISO, OSHA).Document repair activities and maintain accurate records.Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Essential Skills4+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical repair.Proficiency with troubleshooting, electronics, electrical systems, and repair.Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.Mechanical and electrical system repair expertise.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics.Proficiency in assembly and disassembly of components.Use of hand and power tools.Understanding of motor control.Welding and retrofitting experience.Ability to read and write English, computer operation, and calibration proficiency.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing and industrial setting that is hands-on, fast-paced, and safety-conscious. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The team-oriented culture offers opportunities for growth and internal promotion.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
