Job Description
As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating gyroscopic instruments used in navigation, guidance, and control systems. These instruments are crucial in the functioning of aircraft, ships, and spacecraft, and your primary role will be to ensure their proper operation and timely repairs.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on gyroscopic instruments.Ensure the accuracy and proper functioning of gyroscopes through regular calibration procedures.Diagnose and resolve issues with gyroscopic systems, often requiring the ability to interpret schematics and drawings.Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.Assist in designing, fabricating, and maintaining test equipment.Essential SkillsElectron-mechanical technician skills.Experience in repair and overhaul of instruments.Troubleshooting expertise.Minimum of 4 years experience performing related work.Ability to read and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals.Proficiency in utilizing hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with gyroscopic instruments.Candidates with watch repair or other mechanisms involving small gear components are considered.Work Environment
The work environment involves providing Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Services to Original Equipment Manufacturers, Foreign and Domestic Commercial Air Transport, Cargo/Freight, Regional, Corporate, and Private Aircraft Operators, as well as Military and Defense Aircraft Operators worldwide.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
