JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to manage and optimize repack operations across nine Balkan countries—Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia. It oversees activities executed centrally via Unilever’s designated 3rd‑party repack provider in the Balkans warehouse hub. The role ensures that all repack operations meet Unilever’s FMCG standards for speed, quality, compliance, and cost‑efficiency, while enabling commercial agility and operational excellence across the region.
A key focus of the role is to reduce operational complexity and develop clustering strategies for regulatory stickers, ensuring efficient compliance across multiple markets with minimal SKU fragmentation. You’ll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters — for people and the planet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Repack Oversight
Lead and coordinate repack operations for all 9 Balkan countries through the central warehouse.Ensure 3rd party providers meet contractual SLAs, KPIs, and Unilever’s quality standards.Monitor execution, validate output, and ensure timely delivery aligned with market needs.Vendor Management
Act as the primary point of contact for the 3rd party repack provider.Conduct regular performance reviews, audits, and issue resolution.Drive accountability and continuous improvement in vendor performance.Operational Optimization
Identify and eliminate complexity in repack formats, processes, and flows.Develop and implement clustering strategies for regulatory stickers, grouping countries with similar legal requirements to reduce SKU proliferation.Collaborate with Regulatory, Customs, Marketing, and Packaging teams to ensure compliance and simplicity.Quality & Compliance
Ensure repack operations comply with Unilever’s internal standards, food safety regulations, and local legal requirements including Customs procedures.Investigate and resolve quality deviations, ensuring corrective actions and root cause analysis.Maintain full traceability and documentation for all repack batches.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Planning, Warehousing, Customer Service, Regulatory, and Commercial teams across the region.Support last-minute repack requests and urgent market needs with agility and precision.Facilitate smooth communication between internal stakeholders and external partners.Continuous Improvement & Transformation
Lead initiatives to improve repack productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.Support digitalization, automation, and standardization of repack processes.Contribute to regional supply chain transformation projects and innovation pilots.Backup of the logistics and customs tasks in case of holiday/absenceREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in FMCG operations, ideally with regional scope and vendor management.Strong understanding of packaging formats, labeling standards, and product handling.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems and data reporting tools.Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Fluency in English.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, finance or related field.Experience with regulatory requirements across Balkan countries is a strong advantage.Knowledge of a Balkan language is a plus.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
