Repack Operator B - Weekends
Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Required to follow all of Premier’s safety protocols while filling job orders to our Quality standards and procedures, including wearing Personal Protection Equipment at all timesEfficiently fill orders to clients’ specifications Pack boxes with the appropriate number of units while verifying Quality standardsStack correct number of boxes into the designated pallet pattern, and verify Quality and identification standardsCorrect or communicate mechanical or safety issues to Operator A or Supervisor in a timely mannerMeet production output goals for assigned product or processFollow correct procedures and tool usage for salt hangingResponsible for housekeeping duties around work areas and general areas of the plant which may include sweeping, picking up debris, emptying wheelbarrows, or other containers, etc. as part of the 5S initiativesContribute ideas and process improvement suggestions to continuously improve safety, processes, and performanceHelp create a strong team (line) through clear communication and respectParticipate in cross training to build a stronger more flexible team Complete required trainings in a timely mannerComplete paperwork in a timely manner to cGMP standardsAlways represent the company in a safe and professional manner while on company property or while wearing company branded clothingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively; ability to stand for long periods of timeFlexibility to work any required overtimeAvailability to work 12-hour shifts Monday – Thursday or 14-hour shift Friday, Saturday, and SundayMust have reliable transportation to workOther tasks and duties as assigned  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Required: High school level courses or vocational training classesPreferred: High School Diploma or GEDAttention to detail and ability to read/write (English) and interpret numerical sequences, identify lot numbers, and to effectively communicate production issuesTwo years previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  These are considered essential duties and are illustrative of those job tasks, which are fundamental. Work will take place in a warehouse environment.
