Rental Technical Manager
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Rental Technical Manager to join a leading safety technology company on a full time, onsite role supporting their rental operations team. The Rental Technical Manager will oversee the day to day operations of Blackline’s Rental Technician team, responsible for preparing, maintaining, shipping, and receiving gas detection and lone worker safety devices for rental customers. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, hands-on operational oversight, and the ability to support high volume logistics, scheduling, dispatching, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is flexible, and willing to dive into the details to keep the rental division running efficiently. The successful candidate will directly manage a team of 6 rental technicians. Skills and Requirements - 5+ years of experience in production operations, logistics, supply chain, dispatch coordination, or rental operations - 3-5+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrated success managing teams of 4+ employees - Experience overseeing logistics, shipping, scheduling, and triage operations in a fast paced environment - Experience working with dispatching software, scheduling tools, or ERP systems - Ability to work in a customer-facing, solution-oriented environment - Willingness to be on call occasionally to support last minute rental requests - Familiarity with NetSuite - Experience in tech manufacturing, operations, or supply chain - Additional certifications in: o Supply Chain Management (certificate or diploma) o Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
