Wells Fargo is seeking an Environmental Investment Originator to join our Renewable Energy & Environmental Finance team in Commercial Banking.
In this role, you will:
Assist in the financial, commercial, and technical analysis and underwriting of highly structured, tax oriented equity investments in renewable energy and other clean technology projectsAssist in facilitation of tax credit sales from renewable energy and other clean technology projects and manufacturing facilitiesComplete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectationsProduce various written documents, including origination requests and investment memorandaReview financial, commercial, and technical due diligence as assignedConduct technical due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary, and provide in depth analysis on relevant industry trends in the renewable energy and other clean technology spacesIdentify, analyze, structure, and model renewable energy project tax equity financings, in conjunction with the senior teamCoordinate the process for internal approval of transactions, including credit analysis, underwriting, legal, accounting, regulatory, and tax mattersInteract with internal business partners with relationships in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors
