Remote Workday HCM Lead

Job Description
- Lead the implementation of new Workday functionality across modules that have been purchased but not yet fully deployed
- Maintain, support, and enhance the existing Workday platform to ensure stability, accuracy, and reliable day‑to‑day operations
- Configure and manage Workday functional areas—including HCM, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Absences—to support evolving business needs
- Develop and maintain core reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide clear, actionable insights to HR and business leaders
- Partner closely with People/HR leadership to align Workday configurations with strategic objectives and organizational priorities
- Uphold data integrity, security, compliance, and best‑practice governance across all Workday processes and documentation

Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM
- Proven expertise in Workday Recruitment, Onboarding, and Absences
- Workday HCM Certification or end-to-end Workday implementation experience
- Functional (not technical) role handling the configuring and deploying
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills, able to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels while guiding strategy and roadmap decisions
- Provides directional leadership to the offshore team, ensuring alignment, quality, and smooth execution across Workday initiatives - Experience working across multiple Workday modules beyond core HCM
- Previous consulting experience
- Previous leadership responsibilities
