Remote Word Processing Specialist
Job Title: Remote Word Processing Specialist Job Description The contractor will reformat approximately 125 Standard Operating Procedures into an updated template using built-in styles provided by the client. This involves importing styles from the template or pasting information into a copy of the template, with minimal manual formatting required. Responsibilities + Reformat approximately 125 Standard Operating Procedures into the updated template. + Utilize Microsoft Word's built-in styles for majority of formatting tasks. + Import styles from the provided template into source documents. + Cut and paste information into the template while maintaining the required styles. + Communicate effectively with the technical monitor for questions or clarifications. + Work independently while recognizing when to escalate issues to the technical monitor. Essential Skills + Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Word's styles. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Word Processing. + Understanding of style importing in source documents. + Ability to work independently and communicate clearly. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with document coordination and formatting. Work Environment This is a fully remote position, 30-32 hour work week, with an expected duration of 4-6 weeks, which could be extended based on workload. Candidates can work in Eastern Standard Time or Central Time, but must be able to communicate with individuals in Seattle and Maryland. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
