REMOTE Salesforce QA Manager
Job Description A large retail company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance – Salesforce to join its team. In this strategic and hands-on leadership role, the successful candidate will oversee the entire quality assurance function for the company's Salesforce platform, developing and executing a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns closely with the organization's roadmap and product delivery goals. The position involves leading, mentoring, and scaling QA teams across multiple digital product lines while promoting consistent quality practices and fostering a broader culture of quality in collaboration with engineering, product, and design teams. Key responsibilities include establishing and enforcing robust QA methodologies, best practices, and standards—such as Agile, CI/CD, and test automation—while defining meaningful KPIs to track quality metrics and drive continuous, data-driven improvements. The role also entails close partnership with DevOps and engineering leads to seamlessly integrate QA processes into the development pipeline. On the technical side, the Senior Manager will oversee the design, creation, and maintenance of automated test frameworks covering front-end, back-end, and API testing, along with comprehensive test planning, case design, execution, and reporting across web, mobile, and backend services. Strong collaboration is essential, as the position requires working closely with Product Managers, Developers, and UX teams to ensure requirements are testable and quality is embedded from the outset, as well as delivering executive-level reporting on QA outcomes, risks, and ongoing quality enhancements. Skills and Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. · 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role. · Proven experience managing QA for enterprise Salesforce platforms · Expertise in Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. · Strong background in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright preferred) · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps integration is a plus. · Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
