Job Description
An employer is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to help following a recent company acquisition. Our client has taken on 1,300 additional patients, most of whom rely on adherence packaging services and medication delivery. A significant portion of the patient population resides in assisted living facilities and group homes, requiring consistent, accurate medication management. They are seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Technician with strong administrative and data‑accuracy skills to support pharmacy operations during this rapid growth period. This role is perfect for an experienced retail pharmacy technician who enjoys behind‑the‑scenes operational work and thrives in a fast‑paced, accuracy‑critical environment.
Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM EST
Paying $25-30/HR
• Review, update, and maintain accurate patient information in the pharmacy’s CRM (JIRA).
• Ensure patient demographic changes, allergies, preferences, and notes are correctly recorded.
• Verify insurance details, coverage changes, and plan updates within the system.
• Process insurance rejections, including troubleshooting, resubmissions, and coordination with pharmacists.
• Handle payment setup, including entering debit/credit information and resolving billing issues.
• Manage transfer requests, including outbound and inbound coordination with retail pharmacies, providers, or facilities.
Assist with medication profile accuracy to support packaging workflows

Skills and Requirements
• 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active Pharmacy Tech license in MA
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including EMRs, CRM tools, and pharmacy software.
Ability to work independently in a remote, HIPAA‑compliant environment. Retail pharmacy background
