Job Description An employer in the Cincinnati, Ohio area is looking for an iOS Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The client is a large retailer, and the iOS Developer will be supporting the Monetization team. The Monetization team provides an opportunity for product vendors to leverage client banner websites and mobile applications to promote their products. It provides an alternative revenue stream through Product Listing Ads, Targeted Onsite Ads, and Coupon Listing Ads. This is the front-end team that implements the aforementioned components that directly interacts with our customers. We are a cross-functional team following Agile methodology, collaborating closely with other Customer Experience teams and domain service teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS features supporting monetization experiences, including Product Listing Ads, Targeted Onsite Ads, and Coupon Listing Ads across Kroger mobile applications. • Build scalable, performant, and accessible UI components to ensure seamless customer experiences across devices and banners. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineering teams to translate business and user requirements into well-designed technical solutions. • Implement modern iOS architecture patterns and dependency injection to promote clean code, testability, and long-term maintainability. • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and upholding software development best practices related to performance, security, and reusability. • Monitor and optimize app performance related to monetization components, including load times, rendering efficiency, and user interaction flows. • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies contributing to estimation, technical planning, and continuous improvement. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support experimentation, iteration, and ongoing enhancement of monetization features based on business needs and customer insights. Skills and Requirements • 5+ years of experience in iOS Development, including expert knowledge of: o Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit o Concurrency in iOS o iOS and iPadOS SDKs o Accessibility standards and implementation on iOS o Dependency injection • Software development best practices (code structure, reusable code components, design patterns) • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Experience in an Agile environment
