Head of Product
Location: Remote
Salary: $175K–$200K
Performance Bonus: $25K–$50K
Equity: 0.75%–1% ($450K - $600K Equity Value) vested over 4 years
Reports to: COO
Executive Partnership: Works closely with CEO, COO, and CTO to ensure alignment on product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Tie is a fast-growing startup at the forefront of identity resolution and data enrichment. We’re early-stage with strong momentum and a growing product suite (Identification, Warming, Enrichment, Scoring). This is a high-ownership role for a product leader who can set direction, ship quickly with Engineering, and drive measurable customer and revenue outcomes.
We’re looking for a Head of Product to own product strategy and execution across the suite, including Design and Packaging (not Pricing). You’ll operate as a player-coach and serve as the C-Suites product partner—turning market/customer signals into strategy, roadmap decisions, and launches that land.

What You’ll Do
Product Strategy, Roadmap, and Outcomes
• Partner with C-Suite to define product vision, strategic bets, and product narratives; translate them into a prioritized roadmap across the Tie suite.
• Align quarterly priorities with CEO/COO/CTO, making tradeoffs explicit (impact, effort, risk, dependencies).
• Define and track success metrics for initiatives (activation, adoption, retention, expansion, revenue impact, and product quality metrics such as match/coverage/accuracy where relevant).
Customer Discovery and Market Learning
• Run ongoing customer discovery (weekly customer calls, deal reviews, churn/retention reviews, win/loss inputs) and regularly synthesize insights for the exec team.
• Use competitive/industry research to validate opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
Execution and Cross-Functional Leadership
• Partner with Engineering and the CTO to scope, ship, and iterate quickly while protecting reliability and technical foundations.
• Drive end-to-end execution: problem definition → specs → build → launch → measurement → iteration.
• Align Engineering, Delivery, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure launches land and drive adoption.
Design + Packaging Ownership
• Own Product Design (UX/UI) to improve clarity, usability, and time-to-value across the suite.
• Own packaging across product lines (tiers, entitlements, bundles, inclusion rules), ensuring it’s simple to sell and easy for customers to understand; partner with the CEO on positioning and go-to-market alignment.
• Coordinate pricing inputs and constraints with executive leadership (pricing owned outside Product).
Product Org Leadership (Player-Coach)
• Lead and mentor the Product function, starting with one Product Manager and design resources as applicable.
• Establish a lightweight operating cadence (planning, prioritization, launch reviews, post-launch learning loops).
• Hire and scale Product/Design as the company grows.

• Strong customer discovery skills and high-quality decision-making under ambiguity.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership with Engineering and GTM teams.
• Experience owning or leading Design; strong product taste and UX instincts.
• Experience owning packaging for a multi-product suite (entitlements, tiers, bundles), even if pricing is owned elsewhere.
