REMOTE Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with over ten years of experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. This role involves performing electrical design services for federal clients, focusing on vertical structures and healthcare facilities. The candidate will engage in design-build and design-bid-build projects from initial planning through construction, with daily use of AutoCAD and Revit. Responsibilities include stamping drawings, conducting detailed calculations, and preparing technical drawings and electrical system specifications to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will support project production to maintain schedule, budget, and planning.

ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical design services for federal clients using AutoCAD and Revit.Engage in design-build and design-bid-build projects from initial planning through construction.Stamp drawings and provide competent electrical engineering designs.Conduct detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards.Prepare technical drawings and electrical system specifications to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements.Support project production to maintain schedule, budget, and planning.Essential SkillsLicensed Professional Engineer (PE).Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.10+ years of general experience in electrical engineering design.5+ years of electrical engineering experience on federal government A/E projects.Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.Familiarity with BIM, engineering, design, and electrical design.Additional Skills & QualificationsUS Citizenship required.Must be willing to submit to federal drug and background check.Prefer 3+ years of electrical engineering experience with federal medical clients.Previously signed or sealed drawings/specifications.Design experience using UFCs, WBDG, and USACE Huntsville Design Guide.Proficient with electrical engineering principles and practices.Experience with industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, ProjectTeam, ProCon, SharePoint, MS Project, Deltek, CostPoint, GovWin, Dropbox.Work Environment

The office is located in Severna Park, MD, with remote and hybrid work options available. You will work directly with owners, VPs, and clients, providing excellent growth opportunities. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Severna Park, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $67.31/hr.
