REMOTE DevOps Engineer
Job Description This individual contributor role oversees and enhances CI/CD pipelines for a large financial services representative-facing Salesforce technologies. You'll manage release processes for a large, mature retail platform (Sales & Service Cloud, heavily customized, supporting 12+ scrum teams) while preparing for a greenfield migration to Financial Services Cloud (FSC) over the next year+ (go-live targeted for February 2027). The team needs a DevOps engineer to package code, maintain lower environments, automate builds/deployments, troubleshoot issues (e.g., Apex test failures during releases), and support bi-weekly releases now (shifting to monthly post-FSC rollout). This fills a prior resource gap after transitioning from a long-term Infosys contract. This is a fully remote role. Apply today! Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for custom automations. Solid understanding of branching strategies, code review processes, unlocked packages, and advanced release concepts (deployments, versioning, automations). Hands-on troubleshooting in Salesforce environments (e.g., Apex code/test class failures during releases). Knowledge of Agile/DevOps best practices; Jira, Confluence (Remedy a plus). Experience with Copado (nice-to-have; retail platform not on Copado and not migrating there). Salesforce certifications (Administrator and/or Platform Developer). Exposure to unlocked packages or containerized/ modular code patterns. Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for automation.
