Senior Analytics Engineer (Remote – Zionsville, IN)
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to support a leading organization in the direct‑to‑consumer (D2C) and marketing analytics space. This role is ideal for someone who brings sharp thinking, high mental acumen, and a growth‑oriented mindset. Rather than a long checklist of niche technical tools, this opportunity is centered around strong problem‑solving, fast learning, and the ability to work with consumer, marketing, and retail‑driven data.
The Senior Analytics Engineer will help shape core data models, elevate analytics engineering best practices, and influence how teams use data to drive customer‑facing decision-making. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and energized by building scalable data products that support marketing, acquisition, customer experience, and business growth.
This position is remote and requires EST candidates for HQ in Zionsville, IN for $65/75/hr.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Design and develop enterprise data models that support marketing analytics, customer lifecycle analytics, and digital experience use cases
• Work with marketing, consumer insights, and product teams to ingest and transform D2C and retail‑oriented data sources
• Architect and optimize the analytics engineering stack, including transformation workflows, semantic logic, and data documentation practices
• Drive analytics engineering standards across the organization, enabling self‑service analytics at scale
• Lead technical initiatives while mentoring junior and mid‑level team members to build a strong culture of data quality and craftsmanship
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to rapidly learn new business domains and translate ambiguous needs into scalable, actionable data solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data reliability, data contracts, and pipeline automation

Skills and Requirements
• 4–7 years of experience in analytics engineering or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, Git, and modern data modeling skills for partnering with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, semantic layers, data contracts, and tools like Coalesce, Airflow, or Dagster
• Strong understanding of CI/CD for data pipelines and scalable analytics engineering workflows
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable data solutions and provide technical leadership/mentorship
• Growth‑oriented mindset with genuine interest in improving processes and expanding technical depth and comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments
• Strong communication skills for partnering with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
