Job Description Insight Global is seeking a remote AI Engineer to support interoperability compliance applications within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AI/ML concepts, hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), and a proven background in software development. This role involves building AI-driven solutions, migrating business lines from on-prem infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and ensuring compliance with healthcare interoperability standards. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, to enhance interoperability compliance applications. • Utilize tools like GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot to accelerate development workflows. • Collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional teams to migrate applications from on-prem infrastructure to GCP. • Develop and maintain applications using Java Spring Boot and Python within GCP environments. • Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7. • Contribute to architecture discussions and provide technical guidance on AI engineering best practices. Skills and Requirements • AI/ML Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience creating and deploying LLMs. • Development Skills: Proficiency in Java Spring Boot, Python, and cloud technologies (preferably GCP). • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience with healthcare payers, EHR systems, providers, claims, and member coverage. • Interoperability Standards: Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and related implementation guides. • Migration Experience: Hands-on experience migrating applications from on-prem to cloud environments.
