We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Release Manager to lead and coordinate software releases across the Americas region. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth deployment of applications and services into production and higher environments, while adhering to client-defined release processes and supporting incident resolution and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage software releases across the Americas region, ensuring alignment with business priorities and release schedules.
Support production and higher-environment deployments, collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful and timely releases.
Monitor and respond to production alerts, taking necessary actions to minimize downtime and ensure system health.
Assist with incident management and resolution, working cross-functionally to address and resolve release-related issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with the client-defined release process, including documentation, approvals, and change control procedures.
Maintain and continuously improve release documentation, runbooks, and schedules.
Facilitate deployment readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-release retrospectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate release plans, timelines, and status updates effectively.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in release management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices.
Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins, or similar.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with change management frameworks.
Experience working in enterprise environments and large-scale application deployments.
Knowledge of Salesforce and other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.
