Relationship Manager | RIA Firm in East Bay
Description A well-established, independent RIA firm with ~$500M in AUM is seeking a Relationship Manager to join their collaborative, tight-knit team in the East Bay. You'll support Senior Advisors in all aspects of financial planning and wealth management. This role requires a proficient knowledge of financial planning principles, a history of client relationship management, and a capacity to multitask in a busy environment Why Join? + Amazing tenured firm! + Beautiful office in a BART-accessible location + Strong emphasis on professional development: firm covers financial education and certifications + Team-first culture with a focus on quality, integrity, and making a real impact on clients’ lives + Excellent retirement package, generous PTO, and covered commuting costs Responsibilities + Partner with the business development team to onboard new households and ensure a smooth transition of assets to the firm + Guide clients through account establishment, asset transfers, and related service requests + Execute distribution transactions, including monitoring and facilitating Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) and tracking annual obligations + Liaise with custodial partners to complete account maintenance and servicing tasks + Escalate client matters to appropriate internal stakeholders and maintain thorough documentation of all interactions + Coordinate client meetings and investment review sessions for the Advisor + Maintain accurate and detailed client records within the CRM platform + Support client appreciation events and assist with special initiatives as needed Requirements + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution + 2–3 years of experience within financial services, preferably in a client-facing capacity + Series 65 license preferred but not mandatory + Working knowledge of taxable and tax-advantaged account structures and their applications + Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also operating independently + Strong written and verbal communication skills If you are seeking a long-term career path within a fiduciary advisory environment and are ready to elevate your professional trajectory, please apply or reach out directly to Jennifer Fukumae.
