Relationship Executive - Mid-Corporate Banking - Executive Director

If you are customer-focused, enjoy building relationships, and collaborating with a wide spectrum of partners to provide strategic financial advice to businesses, a role as a Relationship Executive might be perfect for you. 

As a Relationship Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking, your primary responsibility will be new client acquisition and maintaining and deepening a portfolio of relationships. You will work both independently and collaboratively to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. Your role involves growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Mid-Corporate Banking target market, which typically includes companies with annual revenues ranging from $100 million to $2 billion.

Job Responsibilities

Act as a primary interface with our Mid-Cap Investment Banking TeamAcquire new clients and maintaining and deepening a portfolio of relationships.Act as the interface between our financial sponsors team and portfolio companiesGrowing and retain profitable relationships within the Mid-Corporate Banking target marketChampion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindsetStay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnershipsFind ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

Seven plus years of lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationshipsUnderstanding of Commercial Banking products and servicesMethodical approach to market activities and prospecting, demonstrate proven client relationship skills, and can engage with CEOs and CFOsAbility to collaborate with internal partners and resourcesDemonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goalsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners Deep local connections and market knowledgeCorporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationshipsExperience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending and Capital Markets Solutions.Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitaskExcellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
