Job Description
This role involves analyzing, managing, and supporting clients and reinsurers in reinsurance fronting agreements to effectively manage risk exposure and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will interpret reinsurance contracts, ensuring that terms are correctly applied in systems and reporting, calculate and reconcile premiums, commissions, and claims, and perform basic accounting activities.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze fronting reinsurance contracts, ensuring alignment with company standards and reviewing complex policy language and conditions.Assess risk exposure and regulatory compliance to support strategic reinsurance placement.Perform calculations for premium and claims allocation for quality control checks.Validate the accuracy and completeness of agreements and financial disclosures.Provide professional customer service via phone calls and emails to both internal and external clients.Coordinate with the Reinsurance Administrator to ensure timely receipt, finalization, and entry of all contracts into the REO system.Maintain assigned reinsurance customer accounts, overseeing all aspects including policy allowances, contractual exceptions, and placement logistics.Ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of account activity across systems.Essential SkillsExperience in reinsurance, compliance, claims processing, reconciliation, and billing.Knowledge of accounting, insurance, collections, cash flow, property and casualty.Understanding of legal administrative processes and sales.Familiarity with general ledger, financial statements, audit, finance, and month-end procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Property & Casualty claims adjudication and reporting.Ability to receive and log all claim notifications and manage claims for status and completion.Maintain claim logs and reporting.Communicate and report claims with underwriting agencies.Input paid and notified claims into the REOS system.Manage cash flow on all reinsurers.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
