Reinsurance and Compliance Specialist

Job Description

ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance adherence as needed.Manage reinsurance, sales, accounting, and legal administrative duties, including maintaining records and processing new business.Handle accounting activities such as calculations, preparation of billing statements, premium accounting, collections, and cash flow.Review and update contracts related to reinsurance.Underwrite FAC and Treaty contracts from a General Conditions and Legal Perspective.Perform account reconciliations as needed.Oversee key MGA accounts.Review company records to ensure correct issuance and intent of products.Deliver professional customer service through phone calls, emails, client visits, and oral presentations.Manage data and verify information using the REOS System.Prepare and reconcile claims bordereaux.Skills & QualificationsExperience in Property & Casualty claims adjudication and reportingAbility to receive and log all claim notificationsSkill in managing claims for status and completionProficiency in maintaining claim logs and reportingCapability to maintain communication and claims reporting with underwriting agenciesExperience with inputting paid and notified claims into the REOS systemAbility to manage cash flow for all reinsurersWork Environment

The role requires working in the office for five days a week. This provides an opportunity to collaborate closely with a dedicated team in a professional setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
