We, Guy Carpenter, are looking for a Reinsurance Actuary to support our Analytics team in Bermuda:

We will count on you to:

Conduct complex, client-specific risk analyses for reinsurance structuring as well as for internal risk managementPerform actuarial portfolio analyses, modeling, and simulation analyses for the non-life business of national and international insurance companiesQuote reinsurance coverages and advise on reinsurance strategy considering individual client goalsPresent analytical content and results in meetings or workshops with global and national clients in the DACH region and actively contribute to our client eventsPrepare comparative studies and reports on actuarial analyses or projectsDesign and implement structured reinsurance solutionsParticipate in central projects for model validation, model adjustment, and process optimization as well as further develop analytical methods in international project teamsConsult in the regulatory environment of the insurance industry with a focus on Solvency II and local accounting rulesProvide actuarial support for licenses of our software products and marketing of products (such as MetaRisk®) within the insurance industry

What you need to have:

University degree in the field of business, insurance or mathematics with in-depth statistical or stochastic knowledge and successful completion of DAV examsThis job offer is aimed at both career starters and applicants with relevant professional experience in reinsurance focusing on non-life insuranceProficient knowledge of one of the programming languages Python or RQuick comprehension of complex issues and the ability to communicate them clearlyConfident appearance internally and externally as well as strong customer and service orientationProficient use of the MS Office suite
