Reimbursement Analyst

Position Overview

The Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for managing informational needs across multiple cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate reimbursement processes. This role serves as a key contact within Billing Operations for payer information, communication, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary liaison for payer-related information and communication.

Identify and resolve reimbursement issues and changes impacting stakeholders.

Facilitate resolution of financial issues between payers, government agencies, and Labcorp.

Compile, model, validate, and analyze data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.

Perform research, analysis, trending, and reporting of diverse RCM data.

Compile complex end-of-month financial reports and present findings to RCM and Finance leadership.

Respond to specialized data requests under tight deadlines.

Support AR trending, AR projects, and AR rundown for RCM subsidiaries.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree with 6 years of healthcare billing experience required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present data via Webex and Teams.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred experience in:

Data analysis and trending

Resolving payer reimbursement issues

Utilizing Xifin RCM billing system

Shift: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Worksite Location: Hybrid (This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington or Durham, NC locations and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
