Job Summary:\rNon-professional personnel working under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Therapist.\rResponsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting therapists with age appropriate patient treatment, support admin duties for Therapists (as needed), and general departmental duties in the area (s) of Rehabilitation Services.\rAdheres to system and department policies and procedures. Incorporates the philosophies of continuous quality improvement, customer service and teamwork into daily routine.\rCore Responsibilities and Essential Functions:\rAssisting Therapists with age appropriate patient treatment\r* Occasional, maybe required to provide a 'second-set-of-hands\" to assist treatment\rGeneral Department Duties in the Area of Rehabilitation Services\r* Maintain a Safe and Clean Patient Care Environment\r* Maintain All Equipment\r* Ensure the availability of all Supplies\rGeneral Admin Support for Therapists\rPerforms other duties as assigned\rComplies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.\rRequired Minimum Education:High School Diploma General or GED General\r\rRequired Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):\rAll certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor\rAdditional License(s) and Certification(s):\rRequired Minimum Experience:\rPatient related experience Preferred\rRequired Minimum Skills:\rGood communication and time management skills\rFamiliar with medical terminology\rAbility to prioritize and complete multiple job tasks.
