(i.e. domestic manufacturing regulations - Build America Buy America (BABA), Buy American Act (BAA); sustainability standards - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED); federal standards - Department of Transportation (DOT); health and safety standards - Prop65, NSF61; and others relevant to the construction industry) + Maintain existing approvals, support the pursuit of new certifications and help the organization stay ahead of the evolving compliance expectations within the construction industry. + Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to obtain necessary documentation on product compliance. + Prepare, submit, and maintain compliance documentation, declarations, and certification applications. + Support sales and customer service teams by providing product compliance certifications as requested. + Identify compliance gaps within the product portfolio and develop actionable recommendations or alternative product strategies to close gaps. + Develop and refine internal processes for collecting, tracking, distributing and maintaining compliance data. + Stay informed on emerging requirements that may impact existing product compliance. **Nature and Scope** + Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. + Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. + May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel. **Work Environment** + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. + Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time. **Education and Experience** + Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas. **Preferred Qualifications** Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. · 2-5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or product safety. · Strong organizational and documentation skills. · Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities. Preferred Requirements: · Advanced degree or certification in compliance or regulatory affairs. · Experience with construction materials and product safety programs. · Knowledge of third-party testing and certification processes. Salary Range: $63,900 - $102,200 The work location for this position will either be on-site in Miamisburg, OH, 8-5 Monday through Friday, or in Atlanta, GA on a hybrid schedule two days a week in our Field Support Center.
