Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Specialist with approximately one year of experience working with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). This role supports regulatory compliance activities for pesticide products, ensuring adherence to federal and state requirements while contributing to efficient product registrations and ongoing regulatory maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing, submitting, and tracking FIFRA pesticide registration applications, amendments, and notifications with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state regulatory agencies.Support the development and review of product labels, ensuring compliance with FIFRA labeling requirements and EPA guidance.Maintain regulatory documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product specifications, and registration records.Conduct regulatory research to monitor EPA policy updates, PR Notices, guidance documents, and state-level regulatory changes.Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including R&D, product stewardship, quality, and marketing—to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into product development and commercialization.Assist in responding to EPA or state agency data requests, deficiency letters, and compliance inquiries.Support the preparation of annual reports, production reports, and other required submissions under FIFRA.Help maintain internal regulatory databases and tracking tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date compliance information.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.Approximately 1 year of hands-on experience working with FIFRA-regulated products, pesticide registration processes, or EPA regulatory submissions.Basic understanding of FIFRA regulations, EPA registration pathways, and pesticide labeling requirements.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with EPA’s Pesticide Submission Portal (PSP) or other regulatory submission systems.Familiarity with state pesticide registration processes.Exposure to regulatory data evaluation, toxicology, or environmental fate data.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
