As a Principal Architect, within the Regulatory, Controls and Operational Risk Technology group, you provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies, as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions.

Job responsibilities:

Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologiesEnsure Architectural Alignment for all software projects align with our organizational goals and technology standardsGuiding both front-end and back-end engineering teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and practicesCreates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software designDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others and mitigate delivery and operations risks early in SDLCContributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesCreates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design and application developmentExpertise in one or more programming language(s)Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and enterprise architecture with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., Controls, risk, cloud, artificial intelligence etc.)Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplinesDemonstrated experience with influencing technical strategyPractical cloud native experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
