PRIMARY PURPOSE: To evaluate content inventories and assist in the research of personal property claims.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Evaluates residential and commercial contents inventories on both a Replacement Cost and Actual Cash Value (ACV) basis.Finalizes inventory in preparation of reporting including: preparing enclosures, preparing letters, and making detailed notes for reporting purposes.Facilitates use of replacement services as requested by the Contents Adjuster.Reviews and processes replacement receipts.Applies limitations and/or exclusions on claims based on coverage afforded by the policy. Tracks time and logs file notes of daily field activity.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the organization's quality program(s).

 

QUALIFICATIONS
 

Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required. Resident Insurance Adjuster License (Fire and Other Hazards) preferred.

Experience
One (1) year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Accounting and insurance background are preferred

PROPÓSITO PRINCIPAL:

Evaluar inventarios de contenido y asistir en la investigación de siniestros relacionados con propiedad personal.

FUNCIONES ESENCIALES Y RESPONSABILIDADES

Evaluar inventarios de contenido residencial y comercial tanto en base a Costo de Reposición como en Valor Actual en Efectivo (ACV).Finalizar el inventario para la preparación de informes, incluyendo: preparar anexos, redactar cartas y elaborar notas detalladas para fines de reporte.Facilitar el uso de servicios de reposición según lo solicite el Ajustador de Contenidos.Revisar y procesar recibos de reposición.Aplicar limitaciones y/o exclusiones en los siniestros según la cobertura otorgada por la póliza.Registrar el tiempo y tomar notas en el expediente sobre la actividad diaria en campo.

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ADICIONALES

Realizar otras funciones asignadas.Contribuir activamente al desarrollo y fortalecimiento de los programas de calidad de la organización.

CALIFICACIONES

Educación y Licencias

Licenciatura de un colegio o universidad acreditada.Preferiblemente con licencia de Ajustador de Seguros Residente (Incendios y Otros Riesgos).

Experiencia

Contar con al menos un (1) año de experiencia en servicio al cliente o una combinación equivalente de educación y experiencia.Se prefiere experiencia en contabilidad y seguros.

Habilidades y Conocimientos

Comunicación oral y escrita efectiva en español e inglés.Manejar herramientas informáticas, incluyendo productos de Microsoft OfficeTomar decisiones de forma integral y fundamentadaLeer y comprender el lenguaje de las pólizasTrabajar de forma independiente y en equipoCumplir o superar las competencias de desempeño
