Registrar

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for professional regulation and public service? The College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA) is looking for its next Registrar—a dynamic and strategic executive who will guide the organization into its next chapter.

As the regulatory body for over 2,000 Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) across Alberta, CRTA’s mandate is clear: to protect the public by ensuring RRTs are qualified, competent, and ethical in their practice. But we’re more than a regulator—we’re a champion of excellence in healthcare education, professional development, and research.

The Registrar serves as the College’s chief executive and regulatory authority, reporting directly to Council. This role calls for a leader who thrives in complex environments, brings strong governance experience, and is committed to upholding the highest standards in health regulation and public accountability.
