Apply now   * Required field.  Lead Vascular Technologist | $40-$46 | San Antonio, TX What Matters MostCompetitive annual salary range: $40-$46 based on experienceLocation: San Antonio, TXFull-Time, Temporary opportunityMonday-Friday, 8a-5p Job DescriptionUnder limited supervision, the Lead Vascular Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations using advanced ultrasonic equipment. ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment across various modes and techniquesAccurately locate, evaluate, and document pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional dataEducate and instruct patients on proper positioning to ensure optimal image qualitySchedule and coordinate diagnostic tests; maintain accurate operational and procedural logsRecord exam results and update patient records for referring physicians in a timely mannerMaintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; order supplies as neededServe as a lead or mentor to junior team members, supporting skill development and workflow improvementsEnsure strict adherence to patient confidentiality, safety, and regulatory standardsQualifications and RequirementsMinimum of five (5) years of diagnostic ultrasound experienceRegistered Vascular Sonographer credential (ARDMS or CCI required)Associate’s degree or graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic TechnologyStrong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and proceduresExcellent patient-care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empatheticallyAbility to read and interpret imaging orders and written instructionsProven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, support, and guide team membersHighly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and emergent needsCommitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism  Benefits & PerksTemporary OpportunityCompetitive pay of $40-$46Medical, Dental, Vision BenefitsOpportunity to support high-risk pregnancies and make a meaningful clinical impact  Your New OrganizationOur client is a respected Cardiovascular provider offering advanced technology, collaborative leadership, and opportunities for professional growth.
