Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursingRegistered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practicesBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart AssociationHaving1-2 years of some form of inpatient nursing med/surg ideal ICU or ED. or periop experienceWhat You’ll Do:
Deliver individualized care using the nursing process—assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.Promote patient safety by implementing risk-reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly.Educate patients and families, adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge.Coordinate care and discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum.Lead and delegate effectively, fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel.Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and unit performance.Maintain professional growth through ongoing education, competency completion, and participation in shared governance activities.Schedule Details/Additional Information:
64 Hours per pay period (0.8 FTE)
8 hour shifts
Mon-Fri with rotating staggered start times between 0730 and 10am.
Weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call shared among all staff.
Must Be 30 minutes within Hospital
