The Hyperbaric Wound Department at ABMC delivers comprehensive wound care services across a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. This highly collaborative team is staffed by skilled Registered Nurses and Hyperbaric Technicians who work together to provide safe, evidence‑based care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The department manages a wide range of wound‑related treatments and procedures, including dressing changes, wound vac placement and re‑dressings, multilayer wraps, casting, wound debridement, transcutaneous oxygen monitoring (TCOM), and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Team members function in a supportive, fast‑paced environment where interdisciplinary communication and patient‑centered care are essential to optimizing healing outcomes.
Hyperbaric Wound team members are required to complete wound care class and obtain wound certification by the end of their first year of hire. Hyperbaric class and hyperbaric certification must be completed by the end of the second year of employment.

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursingRegistered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practicesBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart AssociationWound experience and certification in wound specialty preferredWhat You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.About This Location:
