Crouse’s 36-bed Recovery Care Center (RCC) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients whose procedures/treatments require less than a 24-hour hospital stay. The RCC serves a population ranging in age from 14 to 65+ years.
Pay Range: $39.00 - $50.00/hour.
Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, $5,000 sign-on bonus for newly graduated RNs!
Available Schedule(s): Part-Time 20 hours/week: (8 hour shifts) 5:30am-2:00pm, 5:00am-1:30pm, 6:30am-3:00pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotation of weekends, holidays & other shifts as needed
This position is included in the Saturday rotation. The frequency of Saturday rotations is determined by overall unit staffing. This position will rotate through holidays and may require other shifts as needed. Holidays and Saturdays are reduced staffing days on RCC. This position works eight-hour shifts, working two shifts one week of the pay period, and three shifts the other week of the pay period, for a total of forty hours per pay period. In other words, the position works 16 hours one week of the pay period, and 24 hours the other week of the pay period

Must have a current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduate from an accredited nursing degree program required. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred. For RNs licensed in or after 2017, completion of a Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree will be required within 8 years of the date the license was obtained. If hired as a Graduate Nurse, a NYS limited licensure work permit must be obtained within ninety (90) days of graduation and the GN must successfully pass the NCLEX exam within 120 days of the beginning of employment to obtain the required professional nursing licensure with New York State. Certification in a specialty area preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Benefits Overview:
