Summary of Essential Duties: + As a Transplant Coordinator, Transplant Services, you will assist the Nurse Practitioner/Transplant Coordinator in the coordination of post-transplant care, retrieval of diagnostic work-up, and data entry into CS Link + Serves as a patient advocate throughout the transplant process + Maintains competency skills including the ability to deliver care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds + Identify the ability of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patients to follow instructions and give consent + Identify safety concerns and institute measures to provide a safe environmental and provide appropriate assessment, intervention and evaluation of patients **Qualifications** **Education:** + Graduate of an accredited nursing program required + BSN **License/Certification:** + Current, unrestricted California RN license required + BLS, ACLS & PALS from the American Heart Association required + Certified Transplant Coordinator certification preferred (or willing to obtain within one year from start date) **Experience:** + A minimum of 3 year of acute care nursing experience required Cedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
