Summary of Essential Duties:

As a Transplant Coordinator, Transplant Services, you will assist the Nurse Practitioner/Transplant Coordinator in the coordination of post-transplant care, retrieval of diagnostic work-up, and data entry into CS LinkServes as a patient advocate throughout the transplant processMaintains competency skills including the ability to deliver care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgroundsIdentify the ability of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patients to follow instructions and give consentIdentify safety concerns and institute measures to provide a safe environmental and provide appropriate assessment, intervention and evaluation of patients
Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program requiredBSN 

License/Certification:

Current, unrestricted California RN license requiredBLS, ACLS & PALS from the American Heart Association requiredCertified Transplant Coordinator certification preferred (or willing to obtain within one year from start date)

Experience:

A minimum of 3 year of acute care nursing experience requiredCedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
