Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

As an Onsite Registered Nurse you will:

Observe, assess and record patients’ symptoms, reactions and progressDevelop and manage nursing care plans, instruct patients and their families in proper care and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their healthProvide nursing and first aid services to employees and people who are ill or injured on our clients’ premises in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations to achieve occupational health and safety services objectivesEscorts patients to exam room, prepares patients for examination and treatment and assists the practitioner, as requestedDraws blood and prepares appropriate paperwork for laboratory pick-upProvides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book valuesEnsures accuracy when completing and executing tasks such as; drug screens, DOTs, bandaging, dressings and performing quality assurance checksEnsures accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperworkProvides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volumeAbility to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environmentAbility to adapt to changing business needs such as scheduling and working additional/different hours/shifts when appropriateAbility to consistently deliver quality care in a busy clinical environmentTakes action to assist in other areas and to do what is needed to ensure an excellent patient experienceSeeks out opportunities for additional clinical training and self-development in order to consistently provide quality careEffectively communicates with all patients, clients, supervisors and peers while incorporating Orange Book valuesListens to and understands internal and external client needs in order to act and addressCommitted to personal excellence and understands how daily work contributes to center operation as a wholeHolds self and others accountable. Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Current RN license and CPR certificationPrevious occupational health experience is required; COHN is requestedMinimum of one year of experience in occupational health nursing
