NVRH is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB/GYN & Midwifery Clinic. In this role, you’ll deliver safe, high-quality patient care while supporting efficient clinic operations and fostering a positive patient experience. **About the Role:** As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in patient care and clinic flow, performing assessments, assisting with procedures, and providing education to patients and families. This position offers variety and autonomy in a dynamic outpatient environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Deliver Comprehensive Nursing Care:** Complete patient assessments, including medication reconciliation, vital signs, and screenings, with accurate documentation in the EMR (Meditech). + **Assist with Clinical Procedures:** Support providers during outpatient procedures, assemble sterile instruments, and perform tasks such as injections and dressing changes. + **Perform Safe and Effective Triage:** Assess health status, plan and implement care strategies, and manage urgent calls and prescription requests. + **Educate and Support Patients:** Provide clear, age-appropriate education and training to patients and their support persons. + **Collaborate and Communicate:** Work as part of a team, delegate tasks appropriately, and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA. **Required Qualifications:** + Active Vermont RN license (or multi-state compact) + Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association + Graduate of an accredited RN program + Minimum two years’ experience in a hospital or medical office setting preferred + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities **About NVRH:** Located in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, NVRH is a community, not-for-profit, acute-care, critical-access hospital serving over 33,000 residents in the Northeast Kingdom.
