Registered Nurse Coordinator Surgical Specialties - Operating Room

Hourly Pay Range:

$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Position: Registered Nurse Coordinator - Operating Room

Location: Glenbrook Hospital

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: Monday-Friday -either 0600-1430 5-days per week or 0630-1630 4-days per week

Additional Coverage: Available by phone for emergencies and may assist in the cardiovascular institute


What you will do:

Coordinates the care for the operating room surgical patient population

Manages staff schedules and patient assignments

Works closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and operating room staff to ensure safe and quality care of the surgical patient

Coordinates specialty cases with RN surgical specialists

Monitors and maintains the quality of the intraoperative patient population by ensuring compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.

Participates in performance improvement initiatives related to surgical specialties, collect and analyze data, and implement strategies to enhance patient care outcomes.

May cross cover in the cardiovascular institute

What you will need:

Bachelors Degree Nursing Required

3 Years of clinical nursing experience, with surgical specialty experience preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois. Required And

BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS - American Heart Association (AHA) Required
