What You’ll Do + Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac and vascular patients in a clinic setting + Use critical thinking to assess, interpret, and respond to cardiac-related symptoms and urgent situations + Support care for conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, valve disorders, hypertension, vascular disease, and post-cardiac events + Perform and interpret cardiac and vascular diagnostic tests (ECG/EKG, Holter and event monitors, etc.) + Review test results, assist with treatment planning, and educate patients and families + Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives as needed + Complete thorough documentation, medical histories, and medication reconciliation + Prepare patients for exams and procedures, maintain patient flow, and support daily clinic operations + Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, HIPAA, and ACC/AHA guidelines + Provide patient instruction, coordinate testing, and assist with admissions when necessary Qualifications Education: + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Experience: + Minimum 3 years of cardiac/vascular RN experience in an acute care or cardiology clinic setting Licensure & Certifications: + Active, unrestricted RN license (state of Texas) + BLS required upon hire + ACLS required within 60 days of hire + Preferred: + Cardiac Medicine Certification (CMC) – AACN + Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification (CV-BC) – ANCC Why Join Us?
