Location: The Drive Children's Home, Redbridge.
Salary: From £45, 510 (Pay Grade B)

Additional allowances are paid for on-call duties.
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead one of our children's residential homes, providing safe, nurturing, and empowering care for children with complex needs.

These voices guide our practice. You'll help ensure children's views shape the daily life and culture of the home.

 

What You'll Do

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home in line with Ofsted regulations. Create a child-centred culture that promotes safety, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes. Model and embed DDP and PACE principles in daily practice Supervise and support staff to deliver trauma-informed care Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust safeguarding practices. Recruit, develop, and support a high-performing staff team. Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. Champion the voice of the child in all aspects of care and planning.

 

What You'll Bring

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting. Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and regulatory compliance. Passionate, resilient, and committed to making a difference. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
