This temporary Registered Dietitian role in Everett, MA offers the opportunity to deliver high‑quality, evidence-based nutrition support while collaborating closely with an experienced interdisciplinary team.

**Assignment Length:** 40-hour temporary role
**Why This Role Matters**
This role supports an inpatient acute care hospital with a typical census of 80–90 patients, including ICU, med/surg, adult psych, and geri‑psych. Your nutrition expertise ensures patients receive individualized nutrition care that promotes recovery, health, and overall wellbeing during a critical coverage period.
**What You’ll Do**
• Provide general to specialized nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process
• Deliver evidence-based nutritional recommendations and patient counseling
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized nutrition plans
• Educate healthcare staff and serve as a nutrition resource
• Support food service staff to ensure competency in nutrition-related procedures
• Use Meditech EHR (preferred)
• Deliver care for adult oncology, GI, and pediatric patients
• Work onsite: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm (flexible start 7–8 am), plus every 3rd Saturday
**What We’re Looking For**
• A current, up-to-date resume
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field
• 0–2 years of clinical nutrition experience
• Massachusetts Dietitian/Nutrition License
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Candidates eligible for MA LDN and RD certification will be considered
• Experience providing nutrition care for adult oncology, GI, and pediatric populations
• Experience with nutrition support preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Required compliance items:
• Two MMR vaccinations after the 1st birthday OR documented immunity via titers
• History of chicken pox OR documented varicella immunity via titers OR two varicella vaccinations
• PPD (TB) reading within the past 12 months; if positive, chest X‑ray documentation required
• Hepatitis B immunity via titer OR completed 3‑shot series
• Flu vaccination from the most recent season
• Drug screening
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
