Registered Dietitians in the outpatient Oncology Program, are responsible for providing individualized nutritional support that aligns with the standards of the College of Dietitians of Ontario and the hospital’s oncology nutrition care guidelines. They are key members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, working collaboratively with other dietitians and healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, evidence-based nutrition interventions that address the unique needs of patients undergoing cancer treatment. Their practice emphasizes quality of life, symptom management, and continuity of care within the outpatient cancer journey.
What must you have?
Current Registration and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.Graduate of a recognized university program (majoring in food and nutrition) and successful completion of a Dietetic Internship or Practicum.Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
