Salary Range: $80-110K (DOE)
Candidate must live in Central time zone
This role is remote with up to 70% travel
Position Summary
The Regional Safety Manager ensures that their region complies with OSHA health and safety rules and regulations. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining safe workplace policies. Requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess opportunities for improving conditions, analyze hazards, and execute necessary safety programs. The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for compiling and maintaining necessary records, logs and other reports pertaining to safety, as required by the company, contractors, clients, Federal, State and Local regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluates performance, identifies corrective action, and implements follow up assessmentsPlans, implements and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programsMaintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs as required by state laws and applicable by site and business unitProvides operations team with guidance on health and safety processes ensuring adherence to industry, local state, and federal guidelines and regulationsComplies with customer expectations and SLAsCollaborates with site level management to develop an Emergency Action Plan Coordinates investigations and Root Cause Analysis for Near Miss and accident eventsTracks safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondenceCollaborates with other departments to create and approve manuals, internal policies and procedures in accordance with contract documents, good engineering practices, customer expectations, and federal, state, and local regulations.Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, good engineering practices and customer expectationsCoordinates and monitors customer safety escalations and service request involving safety protocolsParticipates in team meetings and provides regular on-site project presenceResponsible for implementing and maintaining Risk Assessment Plans, conducting risk assessments, administering monthly random safety questionnaires and unplanned safety observationsMaintains Vendor Supplier Portals as it relates to Health and Safety information for regionKnowledge:

5+ years of progressive Health and Safety Management experience preferredEmployee Health and Safety (EHS)Service industry experience preferredMUST be bilingual English/Spanish In health care settings, required to maintain up-to-date immunizations and annual flu shotsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent. Or an equivalent combination of degree and experienceCertifications in Employee Health and Safety (EHS) OSHA 10/30-hour certification idealWhat’s In It for You?
